Early this morning Lee Alexander McQueen, designer and founder of the Alexander McQueen brand, was found dead in his home. At this moment it is believed that he took his own life but it hasn't yet been confirmed by the police. McQueen lost his mother a while back and it has been said that ever since she died he's been struggling with a deep depression.
Today it's not about high heels, it's not about wild, anarchist design. It's about a life that ended way too soon, it's about a family that's been left behind and it's about the horrible pain he must have gone through before he just couldn't take it anymore.
My thoughts go out to his family and friends and I hope that the media will respect their wishes and give them some much needed privacy.
